Dr. Mamo Deksisa Desu is an orthopedic surgeon who did his subspeciality training in Sport injuries, arthroscopic surgery and arthroplasty. His life time commitment is to fight joint pain, save joints and make his clients live life to the fullest possible.
Dr. Mamo received his doctor of medicine degree from Addis Ababa University College of Health Sciences. He then did his post graduate study in Black Lion Hospital Orthopedics Department of AAUMF. He went to Egypt at Alexandria University, Elhadar Hospital to do a subspeciality training in sports injuries, arthroscopic surgeries, and arthroplasty to come back as the first fellowship trained arthroscopic sugeon in Ethiopia.
He is currently serving as Assistant professor of orthopedics at St. Paul Hospital Mellenium Medical College. His current practice is mainly restoring function to knee, shoulder, Hip, ankle, and elbow injuries that are damaged from different causes. He also deals with a lot of ligament injury reconstructions.
